BOOT IT PC Repairs Term & Conditions
These are the terms and conditions that apply to all
services and goods supplied by BOOT IT PC Repairs. Please
read the terms and conditions as they contain disclaimers in
respect of data loss, liability and financial loss while you
computer is in the possession of BOOT IT PC Repairs.
For computer repairs or upgrades where new hardware is
required we aim to have the parts within 10 days, subject to
availability. We do not hold stock of any hardware. All
hardware comes with a standard 1 year manufacturer’s
warranty which will run from the time of shipping from the
supplier. If you have purchased your own hardware we will
fit it but there will only be a 30 day labour guarantee.
The customer will be contacted for authorisation before any
parts are ordered. For orders of £100 or above, a 20%
deposit will be required before the order is placed.
To return any hardware that we have supplied which has
failed under the warranty period please contact us first.
There may be P&P charges for returning an item which we are
not liable for.
Whilst every effort is made to keep your data and software
secure we will not be held responsible for loss or
corruption of data. Some of the processes involved in
removing viruses, spyware and some software issues involve
changes to the system registry which might prejudice
software function, for which we shall not be liable. ALL
DATA SHOULD BE BACKED UP BY THE CUSTOMER PRIOR TO THE
COMPUTER BEING COLLECTED.
If you use your computer for business we will not be liable
for financial or indirect or consequential loss while the
computer is with us or if there is a delay in getting hold
of parts required.
All payments are to be made at the time your computer is
returned to you. An invoice will be given to all
customers. If payment is not received the computer
will not be returned and the customer will have 7
days in which to make payment. After this time an
administration charge of £10 will be added to the invoice
total. In appropriate circumstances we reserve the right to
charge interest in accordance with the Late Payment of
Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (as amended) and the
Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2002.
All work has a 30 day labour only warranty. If the same
issue the computer came to us with arises in that time we
will collect for further testing and return it at no
cost. If it is found to be a virus, spyware or user error
then you will be charged based on the service required (i.e.
if it is a virus, you will be charged the virus removal
service rate). |
